Exam 1 Information
Your first exam covers all material covered in lecture from the beginning of the semester through 15 February. This includes: propositional logic, basic proof techinques, numbers and how they are constructed, Peano axioms, and both weak and strong induction. The lecture notes for these topics are available from the course calendar.
Practice Problems are available here. Solutions will be posted on Monday.
Solution
This is the first exam I gave in Spring 2018. Don't worry about the binomial coefficients, we haven't covered that yet.
As usual, I will have office hours on Thursday from 11-1. I will also be available for appointments on Wednesday and Thursday in advance of the exam; please let me know if you'd like to see me.
