Test 3 will be given in Recitation on Tuesday, November 14, 2000.  It will be closed-book and
closed-notes.  Calculators will not be permitted.

Test Coverage: Sections 4.2, 4.3, 4.5, 4.7, 4.8, 4.10.
You should know the basic properties of rectangles, triangles, and circles in the plane, as well as
the properties of rectangular boxes in space. Geometric formulas for other figures will be provided
if needed. You are responsible for applications to economics.
You should expect a significant emphasis on "word problems".

There will be a Review Session on Monday November 13at 7:30 PM in DH 2315.
