Course Description Functions and graphs. Polynomial and Rational functions.
Logarithms and Exponentials. Trigonometric functions.
     The book is Precalculus (functions&graphs),  Swokowski/Cole.

Grading There will be homeworks (every two weeks), two tests and an exam.
The students can choose to take the tests or the exam or both. The final grade will
be given by the formula below

                      20% Homework + max ( 40% Test1 + 40% Test2; 80% Exam)

Tests and Exam The Test1 will be on October 25 and the Test2 on December 4,
both during the lecture. The Exame will be on December 13, 9 a.m., in DH A317.
