Transportation from the Airport

Transportation options from Pittsburgh International Airport to Carnegie Mellon University

► The 28X Airport Flyer which is a public bus. The fare is $3.75 each way and you must have exact change. The run starts at 5:30 am and continues through 12:00 midnight. The bus stops at the airport approximately every half hour. Pickup is on the Lower Level Door 6. You may find their schedule at 28X Airport Flyer.

If you are taking the 28X public transportation Airport Flyer, the last drop off is at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Morewood. Please exit the bus at that stop. After exiting the bus make a right and walk along Morewood. The second building is Stever House where you will check in and receive your key to the Resnik Dormitory. After exiting Stever House, please make a right and walk along Morewood until you come to the light at Forbes Avenue. Cross the street there. Across the way you will see the "Walking to the Sky" statue. Now you are on main campus Please see the campus map for directions to Resnik Dormitory.

► Taxi. Another option is simply to take a taxi from the airport to CMU. Tell the driver that you want dropped off at Stever House on Morewood and Fifth at Carnegie Mellon. The cost is approximately $60 one way.

► By Car. If you are driving to CMU, please let the organizers (kasperl@andrew.cmu.edu) know as soon as possible as we have to arrange for special permits so you can leave your car in the East Campus Garage overnight. The parking rate is approximately $15 per day. RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
