leave open notes at your feet or emerging from your backpack.

- We may distribute several variations of the exam.
These will be nearly identical in content.
- No ``walkmans" or other electronic devices are permitted.
- You will be given 50 minutes for the exam. We will not accept exams of students who
continue to work.
- If you need additional paper, this will be provided to
you. You may not supply your own paper.
- You may use both sides of the exam if you need additional space, please
indicate clearly on your exam if you do this. Also, if you submit work which is

Also, on the exam itself please indicate that your work is on the extra sheet.
- If you finish your exam early, you may leave the room. Please do so
without distracting others.
- If you have a question during the exam regarding the interpretation of a
problem, please raise your hand. We will not discuss how to solve a problem or
indicate to you if what you've done is correct or sufficient. Also, please make
all reasonable algebraic or arithmetic simplifications.
