  All of the problems listed below are taken from the course text book, Essential Calculus: Early Transcendentals by James Stewart.

When you are writing up your homework solutions remember to clearly indicate your final answer(s) and show your work. Each problem will be graded out of three points. If you don't show your work, you will get either zero out of three or one out of three.

Remember that homework assignments are due at the start of recitation on Tuesdays. You can hand in your homework late and it will be accepted until noon the next day (noon on Wednesday). However, if you hand in the homework late you will get a 50 per cent penalty for lateness. To hand in your homework late, take it to 6113 Wean Hall during normal business hours and put it in your TA's mail box. Then send your TA an e-mail to let them know the homework has been submitted.
